Beautiful Colours


  Look at those beautiful flowers! They are very colourful.

  There are many colours in our world.












Here is a colour song for the pupils.

Teacher can give some uncoloured butterflies to pupils.

Pupils colour the butterflies with different colours.

They raise their butterflies when singing the song.

Yummy, yummy, tummy

There are many delicious food around us.

Important tips:

·      We must eat balanced diet in our daily life.

·    We have to eat lots of vegetables and fruits to maintain our healthy.

·      We should avoid of taking unhealthy food such as fast food, junk food, fizzy drinks and others.

Singing Session

Hickory, Dickory, Dock 

Firstly, teacher can ask the pupils to make a mask.

The pupils draw the face of a cute mouse on a piece of manila card.

Then, they colour their mask with their favourite colours. 

After that, they cut out the face from the manila card. 

The pupils can also add some whiskers on their mask.  

They make a hole on both side of the mask so that they can tie rubber bands on them.

After they finish, they watch the video below.

The pupils wear their masks and sing together.  They also do actions while singing the song.

My Clothes

This is one of the topics in Year 1 English. 
This is the PowerPoint made by me to teach pupils name of the clothes. 
It also contain two activities for the students.

Matching Activity            

How to make a salad?

Step 1:

Teacher can show the flashcards of vegetables to pupils.








Step 2:

Pupils name the vegetables in the flashcards and read the flashcards together.

Step 3:

Teacher divided the pupils into groups. Each group are given an activity sheet. Pupils have to discuss and match the sentences with correct pictures. Then, they read the sentences together.

Step 4:

Pupils work in pairs. Each group will be given ingredients including potato, tomato, cucumber, carrot and cabbage. Teacher demonstrates how to make the salad. Then, the pupils try to make their own salad with the help of teacher.

Important: Teacher must remind the pupils to use the knife carefully for their own safety.

Now, it's the time to enjoy the delicious salad!!!
